Rare Antique Wirework Bullion gold metallic padded lace trim

An incredible 19th c wirework gold bullion metallic lace of padded effect with metallic cord edge. This trim from an early victorian era ladies ball gown measures 24 inches by 11 at the widest point and features beautiful florals on a net ground, in a very parisian effect of swirling leaves and flowers. The gold metal threadwork is mixed with rare lame padded cording similar to vestment. each is an applique, you can separate and use to adorn pillows, antique clothing, antique textiles, or lampshades. In excellent  usable condition with some oxidation, and the net ground is perished, the applique are strong and durable. From the early 1900's and all that is left of this dress remnant.
